Game of Thrones

We are in a cold war. Here in the US and around the world a silent war of power is being waged. Again, most of us, sleep walking through life have little awareness of the battle for control over a precious resource, us. Political factions, isms, false faiths all battle to have control over humanity. These entities have placed us square in the middle of this battle and care very little of collateral damage. As long as in the end there is only one power in complete control over all of us.

The present presidential campaign is a battle that will have an effect on a global scale and for generations to come. On the dark side, there are the Socialist factions currently in power who have made inroads into gaining control of  many aspects of our lives. Banking, investments, healthcare, are now in control of the government  sadly with the peoples quiet approval. In desperate times people panic and will follow anyone who will rescue them. The damage is done but America has a chance to remove the tumor that is threatening to spread.

Unfortunately, our alternative choice is not the optimal choice but it's a start. On the light side, capitalist have a businessman who at least has the idea of what it is to run a company, keep a budget, and make a business successful. The Mormon issue is one of concern for me because of what I know through my religious studies of Mormonism. There is little evidence that he proselytized by force in any of his endeavours so I will be vigilant.

There was really no one candidate on the right that completely won me over. If they could have been welded together it would have been the perfect candidate. The genius of Gingrich in Federalism history. The Libertarian principles of freedom from Paul. Santorum's fire and no nonsense Tea party ways. Romney's success in business and his presidential demeanor. Yet because of our two party system, we lose out on the best of all worlds. Romney will be a antiseptic to slow the left wing infection that threatens our nation. What we really need is the antibiotic that will kill the disease.

Worldwide there is a game of thrones being played that is real. From the middle eastern Arab spring, to the austerity programs being implemented in Europe. Numerous forces are tearing societies apart, for what? For faith? For freedom? I am more pessimistic and I think we all should be suspicious of these ultra dynamic changes that are being made globally. What are we being led to?
